This stunning thistle green Mercedes-Benz 450 SLC C107 is in excellent shape for itsage and kilometres. An original, three owner Sydney Eastern suburbs car. We haverecently fitted some very nice white wall tyres to the factory spec Bundt stylealloys which set the look of brilliantly. The SLC is the fixed roof sibling tothe R107 SL, however it is exceedingly rarer having only been in production from1971-1981 with only 63000 units being built. It is also structurally tighter todrive than an R107 and more practical. This example drives so well, has theright exhaust note and can snap on the V8 torque just as well as it did when itwas new. All the bright-work is in very good shape as well as the rubbers, having recently undergone all new rubber seals treatment. The timber trim isvery tidy too and the all electric windows are operating. The factory sidelouvers appear to be in excellent shape and the sunroof is operational. We havemany thousands of dollars in recent maintenance documents, totalling in excessof $10k The car has no rust issues and has clearly been garage kept for the bulkof its life. The paintwork still has a nice metallic lustre. The driveline isunbelievably tight and squeak free, leading to confirmation of the care andmaintenance this car has enjoyed throughout its time. SLC’s are now startingto hit their appreciation stride, trailing slightly in the wake of the SL’sbut still in the realm of affordability without having to shell out ridiculousmoney for what is effectively an equal sibling.
